We first met Edwin and Kyra at their newly renovated and wee bit empty resale flat in an old and charming neighbourhood. They were in very casual home outfit and hurriedly finished their takeaway food to start our meeting proper.

We thought, this couple 很 real.

As they shared, we learned about them wanting to hold their ROM ceremony in this very apartment and having their immediate family and just 1 friend each in presence.

A first for us.

What really stood out for us was how open and candid they were as individuals. Sharing their childhood and still current love for power rangers, unique taste for never-before-heard retro funky Chinese music and being ones that are thankful for guan yin ma’s blessings.
