Hi.

Welcome to our blog. We document our interest in design, videography, photography, traveling and everything in between. Hope you have a nice stay!

Got To Go

Got To Go

The idea of an overseas pre-wedding shoot with a vendor is one that leaves everyone with many questions. How do one go about it? Where do we go, how many days, how much is it and will I even enjoy traveling with them? How about the gown, the make-up, hair, flowers?

For a start, we don't even have much overseas shoot experience. But after a few long brunches, every one got to know every one better. Eng Hwee and Samantha took the leap of faith to travel together with us.

Two pairs of strangers, we journeyed on...

We could think of many things that could possibly didn't go as planned on our trip with Eng Hwee and Samantha. Heavy snow in summer, 85 km/hr wind speed in the mountains, slopes so steep our campervan couldn’t climb, shaven alpacas, so many so many. In hindsight, how could we even plan? With an appetite for adventure, we were just eager to have fun documenting the experiences.

These are some moments in our lives that will live on in our hearts for a long time to come. Times when we acted emotionally than logically. Questionable decisions we made but looked back and smiled at with fond memories. When Eng Hwee and Samantha thanked us for taking the chance on them, we were puzzled and thought, clearly they were the ones taking the chance on us. In the end, the flowers were wild. The make-up was done by the bride herself. The groom loves the way she looks, even without make-up on.

To Eng Hwee and Samantha who craved a little adventure and didn’t mind us sharing these moments together, cheers to spending Christmas together, to Sam’s new found fear of heights, to Eng Hwee finally putting his manual license to good use and to discovering our common love for mala.

We are usually the ones making videos for people. This occasion, Eng Hwee and Samantha beat us to it and made this video for our travel experience in New Zealand.
